About Cassie

I grew up in a small town in Maine on a beautiful lake where summer days were the best of the best!  My husband and I visit Maine each summer and spend time with my parents who still live on the same gorgeous lake.  I moved all the way to Florida after graduating from highschool to attend Clearwater Christian College where I received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  Once I graduated I decided to stay in the Tampa Bay Area to begin my life as a college graduate.  I have worked in many different administrative jobs including an insurance brokerage company, children's ministry assistant at my church, a customer service rep at a signage company and an office manager at a pediatric dental office.  Pregnancy and childbirth has always been incredibly fascinating and amazing to me so I began looking into what a birth doula does and what I learned led me to have a passion and desire to become a birth doula myself. While working full time I completed a self paced doula certification program through Charis Childbirth. It was a beautiful experience with amazing support from my assigned coach who just so happened to be an incredibly seasoned midwife!  While going through this program I met my now husband, Jeff, through e-harmony.  I took my certification exam and passed the week before we got married in February 2021! My husband grew up in Kentucky which is how I found myself in Louisville.  He has been and still is an amazing support to me through my doula journey to equip, encourage, support and educate birthing mothers.
